Cruise Travel Tips

  • Travel in the day before the cruise leaves and spend the night. Get there early and save yourself the stress of missing the boat.

  • When it’s time to board, there’s a rush of those wanting to be first on. Arrive a little later to avoid the crowds.

  • Make bookings at speciality restaurants before you leave or on your first afternoon. Plan special meals on sea days so you don't need to rush back from exploring.

  • Pack your bathers, book and sunscreen in your carry-on for easy access. Bag delivery takes a while and you don't want to miss out.

  • Water on board is good to drink but very chlorinated. Grab a big bottle from the bar and leave it on your bedside table.

  • When eating in the dining room, there's no need to finish your wine in one sitting. Waiters can store your vino for another night.

  • On your last evening at sea head to reception and fix up your account. This way you'll avoid the early morning scramble to leave the ship.
