In pictures: Our centenary club run
Step back in time with us and relive the joy of our Centenary Club Run from Hobart to New Nortfolk.
RACT began as a car club, and we're proud to recognise the vital role our members have played in preserving our automobile heritage.
To honour our car enthusiast members, we recreated our first club run to close our centenary year. Members took a step back in time, driving in convoy from Hobart to New Norfolk with heritage and special-interest vehicles, including our 1954 Holden FJ Van and 1980 Ford Escort.
The journey started at Government House in Hobart and ended at the Esplanade in New Norfolk, echoing the route our members took in 1923. This event was a wonderful way to reminisce about the past and celebrate RACT's rich history and traditions.
After the drive, participants enjoyed afternoon tea under the trees and viewed the classic cars on display. We're proud to share this journey with our members. Then. Now. Tomorrow.
