Takata Airbag Recall
We're reminding motorists to check their car is safe, with a new Takata airbag recall under way.
With thousands of Tasmanian families at risk under the new Takata airbag recall, we're reminding all motorists to check their car is safe.
This new voluntary recall is separate to the compulsory one put in place by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). So even if you've checked your car before, you should check again, if it falls into the following categories: Audi, BMW, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Toyota made between 1996 and 2000.
Visit the ACCC's Product Safety Recall to see if your car is on the list.
And if you've still not searched for your car in the compulsory recall, make sure your car is safe via IsMyAirBagSafe.
