Agenda items

The AGM is a key event in our calendar, where members get updates on RACT’s progress, financial health, and future plans. It’s also a chance for members to vote on decisions that shape the direction of our organisation.

Key highlights and accomplishments

Acknowledging our contributors

We took a moment to recognise several key figures who have played a significant role in RACT’s journey:

  • Kathryn Westwood, a former Board Director, was honoured with a place on the Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals' honour roll. Kathryn has been a strong advocate for member-driven initiatives and governance excellence, playing a crucial role in shaping RACT’s strategic direction during her tenure.

  • Ralph Doedens, retiring Board Director, has been a cornerstone of RACT’s growth. Ralph joined RACT Insurance as CFO in 2000 and became CEO in 2006. He later returned as a Board Director, where his extensive industry knowledge and strategic insight were invaluable, especially during RACT’s acquisition of full ownership of RACT Insurance in 2021.

  • Jo Archer, awarded an Honorary Life Membership, served as a Board Director from 2006 to 2021. Jo is well-known for her passion for road safety and community advocacy, particularly in regional Tasmania. Her commitment to keeping the member voice at the forefront of Board discussions has left a lasting legacy.
